Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute/ICU settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients/families on treatment plans
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license required
- BSN or Associate degree in Nursing
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
