Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and setting up sterile fields
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Count and account for all surgical instruments and materials
- Position patients and prepare surgical sites
- Operate surgical equipment and monitor sterilization processes
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years of recent surgical tech experience
- Knowledge of sterile processing and OSHA standards
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
