Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and routine check-ups
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms with sterile instruments
- Take and develop accurate dental X-rays
- Maintain patient records using digital software
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Ensure OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Valid Illinois dental radiography license
