Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform specialized procedures as needed
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and state nursing regulations
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (specialty certifications may apply)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Positive references from previous employers
