Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment plans
- Accurately document patient records using EMR systems
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning
- Manage critical assessments and emergency interventions
- Maintain compliance with California nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (compact license accepted)
- 2+ years recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications (PALS preferred for ICU roles)
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner experience a plus)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
