Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases based on medical urgency
- Accurately document patient histories and symptoms in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding home care or emergency department protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
- Monitor patient flow and adjust triage protocols as needed
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Expertise in rapid assessment protocols and critical care triage
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during high-volume situations
