Responsibilities
- Assess patients using standardized triage protocols to determine urgency and prioritize care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Initiate emergency response protocols for critical patients
- Provide education to patients regarding symptoms and care pathways
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient flow
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
