Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments via telehealth, phone, and in-person triage
- Prioritize patient cases using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Coordinate care across departments including ED, ICU, and specialty units
- Document assessments in Epic EHR with 100% accuracy within 15 minutes
- Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up care coordination
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in rapid response team activations during critical incidents
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN required (MSN preferred) with 3+ years ED or critical care experience
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Triage & Emergency Care (TECC) certification
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR and telehealth platforms
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications with current status
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
