Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using established triage protocols
- Provide clinical guidance to patients via phone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless care coordination
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Monitor vital signs and administer initial treatments as per standing orders
- Educate patients on care plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (Compact State preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and empathy abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
