Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and comprehensive health history assessments.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient examinations.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately, ensuring patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and specialist referrals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office or clinic setting.
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedules (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
