Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Greet patients, verify information, and prepare them for examinations.
- Vitals & Screening: Accurately measure and record vital signs and medical history.
- Procedural Support: Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with clinical procedures and examinations.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications and injections under supervision.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Lab Work: Perform basic laboratory tests and draw blood samples (phlebotomy).
- Environment: Ensure the clinic is clean, sanitized, and organized for patient safety.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA or RMA certification required.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications.
- Experience: 1+ years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Compliance: Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
