Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and report changes in condition to nursing staff immediately.
- Create a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (Texas State Board of Nursing).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
