Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and daily progress in electronic health records.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist nurses with procedures and ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current, active North Carolina CNA license (CNA-1 or CNA-2).
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred.
