Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities immediately.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of North Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
