Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the RN/LPN.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Communicate patient changes and needs to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active California CNA license.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Physical ability to lift and transfer patients.
