Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance, with dignity and respect.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient health status accurately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient progress.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (State of California).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional but preferred).
