Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient logs.
- Foster a compassionate and respectful environment for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care plans.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- Reliable transportation for travel between shifts.
