Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, blood pressure, and patient symptoms accurately.
- Assist licensed nurses with medication administration and basic medical procedures.
- Implement and update individualized care plans tailored to resident needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document all care activities in electronic medical records (EMR) promptly.
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA Certification required.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as necessary (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
