Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) and patient conditions accurately.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team regarding patient status and any changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
- Current Kentucky CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Weekend availability is mandatory (Saturday and Sunday).
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
