Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and health status documentation
- Mobility support and safe patient transfers using proper techniques
- Collaborative care coordination with RNs and interdisciplinary teams
- Emergency response training and implementation
- Medication administration under supervision protocols
- Maintaining HIPAA-compliant patient records
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Exceptional communication and emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in EHR documentation systems
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat/Sun 6am-6pm)
- Background check and health clearance required
