Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation in EHR systems
- Mobility support and safe transfer techniques for residents
- Collaboration with RNs and therapists for personalized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Compassionate emotional support during resident activities
- Emergency response training implementation
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year senior care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Weekend/holiday availability mandatory
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EHR)
- Spanish language skills highly valued
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Clear background check and TB screening
