Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, vitals, and minor procedures with precision and empathy.
- Perform phlebotomy and EKG testing as required, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Manage patient intake and scheduling efficiently using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts and medical documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and educating them on health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a primary care or outpatient facility.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records (EHR) software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) as required.
