Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments, including accurate vital signs and medical history collection.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Manage administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, updating electronic health records (EHR), and processing insurance verification.
- Assist with basic laboratory testing, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and HIPAA-compliant clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and high satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts consistently.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
