Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled professional to assist providers with patient care, manage clinical tasks, and maintain a welcoming clinic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and document patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, weight, and pulse.
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
  • Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
  • Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as prescribed by providers.
  • Manage patient intake, including verifying insurance information and updating electronic health records (EHR).
  • Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
  • Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service during busy weekend shifts.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS preferred).
