Responsibilities
- Conduct Patient Assessments: Accurately measure vital signs, weight, and height, and record patient history during intake.
- Provider Support: Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures in a calm and professional manner.
- Lab & Procedures: Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and assist with point-of-care testing as required.
- Administrative Duties: Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and sterilization standards.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current certification as a CMA, RMA, NCMA, or similar.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but strong recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Licensure: BLS and Basic EKG certification required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
