Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing in outpatient clinics
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient settings
- BLS/CPR certification (must be maintained)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
