Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history collection.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Administer injections, medications, and perform basic laboratory tests as directed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Sanitize exam rooms and medical equipment to ensure infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and coordinate follow-up appointments.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient privacy (HIPAA).
