Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records following regulatory standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff during weekend shifts
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Med-Surg or ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
