Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs 24/7 during weekend coverage.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Document patient care accurately and timely using electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond immediately to emergent situations and critical care needs.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
