Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments and care planning via telehealth platform
- Provide medication management and clinical oversight for weekend patient caseload
- Coordinate care transitions and collaborate with on-site medical teams
- Document clinical encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to patient inquiries and triage urgent concerns during weekend shifts
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for critical patient situations
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and telehealth regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- Telehealth or remote care certification preferred
- BSN degree or higher (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Strong proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Excellent communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid BLS certification
