Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during assigned weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond to emergencies with rapid assessment and intervention
- Precept new staff members and mentor nursing students
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Weekend shift availability mandatory
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 5+ years experience)
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts as needed
