Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse units during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in weekend shift rotations and weekend-only coverage assignments
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Availability to work every weekend (Sat/Sun) with rotating holidays
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
