Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments and care plans for weekend patient population
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and code activations
- Mentor junior staff and promote best practice implementation
- Participate in weekend-specific quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience in weekend rotations
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
