Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts in emergency, ICU, or medical-surgical units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during high-pressure situations
