Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in weekend rotations across Med-Surg, ICU, and Emergency departments
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans with precision
- Lead multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor new staff and contribute to weekend shift quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to critical incidents with calm professionalism during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years acute care experience in weekend/night shift environments
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills for weekend team collaboration
