Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments and care plans in fast-paced weekend clinical settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care coordination
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking and rapid intervention skills
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Mentor junior nursing staff during weekend rotations
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 3+ years considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Philadelphia-based healthcare experience preferred
