Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and perform chairside assistance
- Manage patient records and scheduling systems
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Ensure optimal clinic cleanliness and organization
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental settings
- Proficiency in dental radiography software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR certification
- Texas dental assistant license (if applicable)
