Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient positioning
- Perform digital radiography and chairside dental impressions
- Maintain sterile equipment and follow OSHA infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using Dentrix software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory of supplies
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education materials
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA status
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and sterilization techniques
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills and customer service approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
