Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic applications
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with proficiency
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards (OSHA compliance)
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate digital health records
- Assist in treatment room preparation and inventory management
- Deliver compassionate patient education on oral hygiene procedures
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required (California Board of Dental Examiners)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- DEXIS/Sirona imaging system proficiency
- Exceptional communication skills in English (Spanish fluency a plus)
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
