Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and order pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Assist with vaccine administration and health screenings
Qualifications
- Active NYS Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and dosage forms
- Proficient in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Rx30)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid NYS driver's license (if required for deliveries)
