Responsibilities:
- Perform four-handed dentistry during examinations and procedures under the supervision of the dentist.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental materials to ensure strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records accurately, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Greet patients warmly and provide pre- and post-operative instructions to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with scheduling and managing patient flow efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Current DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certification or equivalent state licensure.
- Georgia state dental assisting license is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and sterilization techniques.
- CPR and BLS certification (American Heart Association) must be up to date.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered attitude.
