Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection following strict protocols
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transport of specimens to laboratory
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems
- Verify patient identity and prepare collection materials efficiently
- Provide patient education and comfort during procedures
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA compliance standards
- Collaborate with clinical team to optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Strong venipuncture skills with minimal callbacks
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license for mobile phlebotomy
