Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize cases based on urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care plans
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage services
- Coordinate with specialists and ancillary departments
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Train and mentor junior nursing staff
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
