Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient conditions in emergency department triage
- Accurately document patient histories and symptoms using EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to determine appropriate care pathways
- Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- EHR proficiency (experience with Epic preferred)
