Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical urgency using evidence-based protocols
- Provide expert clinical guidance to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person triage
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Implement emergency response protocols for critical situations
- Educate patients on healthcare resources and self-care management
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana with minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical environments
