Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using standardized triage protocols to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Provide clear, compassionate instructions to patients regarding home care or emergency department visits
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation per regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical cases to clinical leadership
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of emergency or urgent care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
