Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and emerging markets to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and communicate compelling future scenarios through executive presentations, white papers, and interactive workshops
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future-proofing business operations
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and thought leaders to accelerate innovation pipelines
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Champion a culture of innovation by mentoring teams in future-thinking frameworks and adaptive strategy
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and socio-cultural megatrends to anticipate systemic risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology Futures, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with proven impact on organizational transformation
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting complex futures to C-suite audiences
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize disparate data points into coherent future narratives
- Experience leading global innovation initiatives across multiple industries and markets
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work, scenario planning projects, or technology roadmaps
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., causal layered analysis, weak signal detection)
