You'll lead cross-disciplinary teams to prototype solutions for challenges we haven't yet imagined, while maintaining ethical guardrails for exponential technological advancement. Your work will directly influence our product roadmap and corporate evolution through 2030.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology horizon scan, identifying paradigm-shifting innovations in AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Design strategic frameworks for quantum-resistant security protocols and decentralized governance systems
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to prepare for 3+ year market transformations
- Author quarterly 'Future State' reports predicting societal and industrial disruptions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize moonshot projects aligned with 2026 capabilities
- Establish KPIs measuring organizational readiness for exponential change adoption
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, emerging tech consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuro-technology
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ technology impacts (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP-LE, or similar)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
