Responsibilities

- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum internet, synthetic biology, neurotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align C-suite on innovation priorities and risk mitigation
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and market disruption reports for executive stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-ready solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs for futuristic initiatives and track adoption metrics against industry benchmarks
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi techniques, and trend impact analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning software (e.g., Kumu, Scenariio)
