- Analyze emerging tech trends and geopolitical shifts to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Design and implement scenario-planning frameworks for long-term market positioning
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Oversee pilot programs for next-generation technologies with $10M+ innovation budgets
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing company-wide resource allocation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation leadership within tech/biotech/finance
- Proven track record of executing multi-year transformation initiatives ($50M+ scale)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic risk assessment
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent advanced degree in Strategic Foresight
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-suite/board experience
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
